A Royal New Zealand Air Force T-6C Texan Ii Aircraft Flying.

These guys are quick — be ready or you'll miss them. We don't know if they'll actually fly over Waikawa Beach, but they'll have to be nearby. RNZAF Black Falcons to visit South Island this weekend - New Zealand Defence Force:

There will be many opportunities for people across the lower North Island and the length of the South Island to see the T–6C Texan II aircraft fly overhead on Saturday as they make their way to Invercargill. …

Saturday 2 March

After departing RNZAF Base Ohakea the Black Falcons will fly South via the following route, all times approximate:

Levin (Oxford St) – 08:03
Ōtaki Beach – 08:06
Paraparaumu (Amohia St) – 08:09

2 March update: Unfortunately, low-level cloud on the flypast route, which will affect safe fuel reserve planning, has led the team to make the hard decision to cancel the flypast. The team will still fly down to the Southland A&P Show, but they will fly at a high level.
