Information from the Horowhenua Chronicle — our Monday collections are affected, being moved to the Saturday before:
Rubbish
Kerbside collection will continue as normal, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. There will be no kerbside collections on Monday 25 December, or Monday 1 January.
The collection which would normally happen on Monday 25 December will take place earlier on Saturday 23 December.
The Monday 1 January collection will take place on Saturday 30 December. Please check your collection dates on Council’s website.
Please be aware collection times may vary. Please have your bags, wheelie bin and glass crates out before 7.30am on your collection date.
Recycling Station
Waikawa Beach A recycling station is located near the toilet block by the reserve and is available from mid-December to early January. Please recycle approved material only. No recycling after 6.30pm or before 8am.
