With spring the birds are starting to show up again. Down at the Strathnaver lakes, Waimarie and Te Puna a te Ora, this afternoon I spotted a black swan pair with half-grown cygnet, Pāpango | New Zealand scaup, Australian coot, and some ducks.
Not too far from there a pair of Barbary dove were hanging out on a driveway.
